John "Jack" Rounseville of Braintree passed away on November 6, 2016 at the age of 65.

He is survived by his 3 children, Darlene Corbett- Rounseville, Heather Rounseville and Josh Ledger.  His brother Uncle Sam Rounseville and wife Jean Kenney Rounseville; Sister Nancy Kropp and husband Thomas Kropp.  Cherish grandfather of 4; Cameron Cox, Chancellor James Corbett, Amelia Corbett and Savaahna Corbett.  His nephews and nieces, John Rounseville, David Rounseville, Tina Kropp and Valerie Kindle. Including many cousins. He also leaves behind his longtime caretaker and friend Alice Skehan. He is also survived by his Beloved rescued dog Ida Claire Rounseville whom he said was the best dog he ever had.

Jack grew up in Quincy and graduated in 1971 from Quincy High School. He served as the youngest ever elected commodore of the Quincy Yacht Club in 1977 at the age of 26.  He worked at Roys flowers which was the family business and then moved on to work for Yellow Cab for over 30 years.

After Jack retired he passionately researched the "Rounseville" genealogy leaving us with the abundance knowledge of our past family history.  Many of his days/nights was our gift to our family roots.  Jack was also a member of the Son's of the American Revolution.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 3pm to 6pm located at the Hough's Neck Congregational Church located at 300 Manet Ave, Quincy, Ma 02169.

In lieu of flower donations in memory of Jack may be made to    Father Bill's/Main Spring   422 Washington Street, Quincy, MA 02169.  With this donation I know that our father, Jack Rounseville, would appreciate anything to this cause.  info@helpfbms.org
